Home Take OFEV® Working with Your Healthcare Team

When you have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), your healthcare team is there to provide guidance and support throughout your journey with IPF.

Read below to find helpful information on working with your healthcare team.

TAKING AN ACTIVE ROLE
IN YOUR CARE

Many aspects of IPF are out of your control. Treatment and healthcare decisions shouldn’t be. That’s why it’s important to take an active role in managing IPF. One way to do that is by keeping a journal that you can fill with everything from appointment reminders, to test results, to updates on how you’ve been feeling.

Then, when you’re at your doctor’s office, you can refer back to the journal to help start a conversation about your thoughts, questions, needs, and concerns.

Use this journal to keep track of your experience while taking OFEV® (nintedanib).

“This whole experience has taught me that you should be proactive. After all, it is your health; it is your life. Decide what you are going to do about the issue you are facing. Find the best brains out there to get the information and insight you need.”
