Financial Support
Resources

When it comes to exploring your treatment options, we understand that cost can be an important consideration. If you need help paying for your OFEV® (nintedanib) capsules, there are programs designed to help you with your out-of-pocket costs (such as copays or deductibles).

Additionally, if you have commercial pharmacy insurance, there is nothing for you to fill out. Your doctor simply provides your Specialty Pharmacy with the information they need. They take it from there. Be sure to ask your Specialty Pharmacy or the OPEN DOORS® Patient Support Program Care Team about the following financial support options, and which may be best for you.

THE OFEV COMMERCIAL
COPAY PROGRAM

  • If you have commercial insurance, you will have the opportunity to enroll in the OFEV Copay Program. The Specialty Pharmacy will enroll you in the program and provide a status on your eligibility.
  • If you are covered by any form of government-funded healthcare programs (Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA, etc.), you are not eligible for the program. Also, if you are paying cash, you will not be eligible.
  • If you are eligible, you may receive OFEV for as little as $0 per month. There is no card to carry or worry about.
  • Please see full terms and conditions.

Remember—OFEV is available only through a Specialty Pharmacy that specializes in rare diseases and the medicines used to treat them. They can help:

  • Arrange for financial support if you are eligible
  • Explore potential insurance benefit options
  • Coordinate delivery of your medicine
  • Offer refill assistance

Call the OPEN DOORS® Patient Support Program at 1-866-‍OPENDOOR (1-866-673-6366) to learn more about your OFEV prescription and what financial support options may be available to you.

Should you encounter a delay in getting your prescription approved, talk to your doctor. The OFEV Bridge Program can help close the gap and temporarily provide OFEV free of charge to eligible patients.*

*To be eligible, patients prescribed OFEV must be insured, meet certain income requirements, and experience a delay in receiving their therapy (treatment initiation or refills) due to a payer delay.

THIRD-PARTY
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

If you are enrolled in a government healthcare prescription drug program, do not have insurance, or have private insurance that does not cover OFEV, other financial assistance may be available.

These independent charities typically require separate applications, have financial eligibility guidelines, and require financial documentation, such as copies of your latest tax return.

If your doctor has prescribed OFEV and you need help paying for it, explore your affordability options.

MEDICARE PART D
EXTRA HELP PROGRAM

Medicare Part D helps those enrolled in Medicare pay for the prescription drugs they need. Additionally, Medicare Part D includes a government program known as Medicare Extra Help, which may lower prescription drug costs for qualified patients. If you have Medicare, including Part D, and have limited income and resources, you may qualify for the low-income subsidy (LIS) Extra Help program to help pay for some of your prescription drug costs.
